"Heart of Coal" is a Florida Fringe Festival production about and for raising awareness of our nation's worst man-made environmental distaster called Mountaintop Removal. Music includes performances by Lauris Vidal and Discovery of Magnetic North and a special screening about Mountaintop Removal featuring Woody Harrelson. Help the kind folks over at Carbon Productions raise some moola for their show and shake your booty while you learn what you can do to Stop Mountaintop Removal. (First step: get this show the funding it needs so we can take this message to the masses.) Our very own Sandra D Vegan (creator of the delicious Dandelion menu) actually moved up to the mountains recently to devote her full attention to this very important cause. If you love our food (and we know you do!) then you owe Sandra one & she's calling your attention to this topic! Find out more.
