Music: DJ Marshall Jones of Brownsville/Soulidified Music spins OurLando's only soulful house Thursday, May 17th Malisa McCreedy, the City of Orlando's Transportation Planner, will speak on Get Active Orlando and the City's bike and pedestrian plans. Get Active Orlando promotes physical activity through community design, programs and communication strategies. Progams include a senior walking group, bike giveaway and community garden at a local school. Thursday, June 21st Emily Ruff, director of Florida School of Herbal Studies and owner of Orenda Herbal will talk about how the creation of sustainable communities empowers individuals to expand their knowledge of and experience with the natural world in relation to their holistic wellbeing, through a philosophy-in-practice education of the uses of herbs for food, wellbeing, and spirit.
