Woooooooo-hooooooo! We are so thrilled to announce that Dandelion was voted top honors by Orlando Weekly readers in not one, but TWO categories. Being the happy vegetarians that we are, we we so thrilled to be tops in Best Vegetarian amongst such stellar veggie eateries such as the fabulous Infusion Tea and Orlando's veggie veteran, Garden Cafe.

We are super stoked about our designation as Best "Whatever" - the write-in category that could be anything at all, and Dandelion is IT!!! Hot diggity! We got a great little write-up in the local color section as well - a sure sign that we are being recognized as more than just a fabulous place to eat, but an important part of the diverse local culture that is sprouting up all over Our-lando!

But that's not all!
We are also stoked to announce that The Punching Contest (with our very own Doug Woods) won Best Punk & Best Metal Band.

Also taking no. 1 for Best Rock/Pop was The Heathens, led by our Matt Butcher (currently on tour, no less - read their tour blog).

We are also super proud that Orenda Herbal was featured as an editor's pick - we carry this locally grown & organically handmade line of health & beauty products in our retail section!

AND, as luck would have it, Austin's Coffee took the crown for Best Coffeeshop in town. We love Austin's so much, we serve their organic coffee over at our place, so we are even prouder than ever to be brewing it up for you!

So, it would seem that this has been a very good week for us & our vendors, thanks to YOU, our loyal, loving fans. We are planning a celebration soon - stay tuned for more details on the mad teaparty we're cooking up!
