On Tuesday, Orlando welcomed back Sol.Illaquists of Sound from their 40 city tour with a sold out show that had the crowd fully immersed like the tight & growing community we are. The furious love spell that they cast on us is an inspiration since these musical magic makers & their family at Nonsense Records have been practicing community in OurLando for many years.

I think that the residents in this town are taking a look around at the amazing culture they are discovering right under their noses & getting comfortable with the notion that this is OurLando: as a community we can, are & should consciously create a cultured city that is independent, progressive and passionate.

In this spirit, we are launching the first annual Homemade for the Holidays Art & Crafts Market to create a space where talented local artisans & crafters can present their goods for gift giving as an alternative to Big Box retail stores. We know that you prefer to vote with your dollars & we challenge you to make your holiday shopping list one that is supportive of a more natural, independent spirit which not only feels right, but also sets a wonderful example to those on the receiving end.
